Jim Sharon Bearden, Sr

Sharon began his legal career in 1965 and has amassed over 43 years of experience. During that time, he was elected as Justice of The Peace, County Attorney, and District Attorney. Sharon has compiled an unparalleled record at trial. Over the 43 years, Sharon has tried more than 700 cases, winning an overwhelming majority of these cases. He primarily handles criminal cases, divorce cases, and child custody cases.

Jim Sharon is a Texas A&M graduate from the class of 1996, earning Magna Cum Laude honors in Economics. He graduated from Texas Tech School of Law in 1999, graduating at the top of his class. In law school, Jim Sharon was elected as Class President all three years and was ultimately elected as Student Body President. He was also elected to serve as the Graduation Commencement Speaker. Shortly after law school, Jim Sharon was appointed to the Board of Directors for the Texas Tech School of Law Alumni, becoming the youngest member of the board.
